To the poet Juan Tu
总有一种要耕耘的冲动
I always have an impulse to till
天皇的目光？地母的目光
The sight of the Heavenly Father，the sight of the Earth Mother
我是说每当读到您的名字
I mean every time when I read your name
我的脑海里？总会浮现出
In my mind，there will always appear
一张被泥土磨的发亮的犁
A shining plow worn by earth
一个感情丰富的汉子？
A man with complex feelings
在天皇和地母的呵护下
Cherished by the Heavenly Father and the Earth Mother
俯身？耕耘土地的背影
his back bending over to till
那是一幅？充满春意的春耕图
That is，a spring tilling picture full of warmth
一幅男人耕耘女人的画面
A picture that man is tilling woman
天皇和地母高高在上
High above is the Heavenly Father and the Earth Mother
天皇对地母说？男人长大以后
The Heavenly Father says to the Earth Mother，when man grows up
地母微笑着点点头
the Earth Mother nods with a smile）
这就是诗
He becomes a poem
我从立春的子时走出来？
I came from the right midnight when spring begins
阳春抖落一身寒雪
Warm spring shook off snow out of every pore
接下来的日子？是荠菜花的清香
In the following days comes the faint scent of shepherd‘s-purse flower
油菜花的清香？漫山遍野的
The faint scent of rape flower，wormwood and ordate houttuynia
蒿草和鱼腥草的清香？
scattered over hill and dale
我看见垣古的土地上
I see that over the everlasting land
万物苏醒以后？打着哈欠
Everything wakes up，yawning
伸展着迷人小腰的模样
Straightens up their charming waist
看见几只发情的黄蜂
And sees several mating wasps
缠绵着？上下翻飞的模样
Lingering，flying up and down
其实土地也有发情的时候
Indeed，the land also has its mating time
这时是春天？一年中最浪漫的季节
This is spring，the most romantic season
发情的土地心里很热
The mating land is warm in heart
表面上还装的若无其事
Pretending to be calm outside
你怎么都会觉得
You will feel by any means
今天莫名其妙的多穿了一件衣服
That you wear one more garment without knowing why
这时的气温很高？这时的江南
At this time the temperature is high，South of the Yangtze at this time
水柔泥软？田间耕作的牛
Soft water and earth，the cattle working in field
角总是往里弯的？这时的北方
With horns bending inside，North at this time
水稀土硬？田间耕作的牛？
With few water and hard earth，the cattle working in field
角总是向前冲的
With horns bump ahead

Tonight，I imagine myself to be convex-concave
想象成周易里暗含的太极生阴
To be Tai Chi breeding Yin in Zhou Yi
或太阴生阳？作为一个诗人
Or Taiyin Breeding Yang，being a poet
我把凸想象成一个受孕的
I imagine convex to be a pregnant
初婚女子？一个很俊美
Newly married woman，a very beautiful
很好看的川南女子？满肚子的爱
And nice woman from South of Sichuan，full of love in her belly
满肚子已经着床的胖嘟嘟的
On bed is the fat
诗歌？被爱后开在脸上的花
Poem，the flower on the face after being loved
和被爱以后在腹部隆起的花蕾
And the bud on the rise of the abdomen
一着眼？就让人对生活的实质
Once seen，you will think crazy about
有些想入非非
The nature of life
这时的凸？是一种希望
The convex at this time is a hope
一种对未来的美好憧憬
A beautiful longing for the future
这种希望和憧憬
This hope and longing
缘于爱与被爱？缘于爱了以后
Comes from love and being loved，after being loved
已经结晶？她可以长成一棵树
It is crystallized，she can grow to be a tree
长成一道岭？长的高大无比
To be a mountain ridge，being matchless strong and high
伟岸嵯峨
Tall and sturdy
这时我就可以躲在树下乘凉
At this moment I can hide under the tree
站在岭上看风景？看长发飘飘
To see the landscape on the mountain ridge，to see the long hair floats and
一脸闹腮胡子的魏平
Bearded Wei Ping
是如何一面气定神凝的
with perfect composure
坐在成都的美丰花苑的阳台上
Sitting on the balcony in Chengdu
喝着盖碗儿茶？一面狠狠的
Drinking the bowl of tea，writing poem wildly
写诗的了？这时我感觉
Now I feel
站在高处的我
standing high I am
真的比牛年的牛逼还牛
The ace of the ace
想象完了凸？我当然要想一想凹
After the imagination of Convex，it comes to concave surely
在我的想象中？凹形为阴
In my imagination，concave has the shape of Yin
实乃阳也？其实凹更像魏平
Indeed it’s Yang，actually convex is like Wei Ping much more
仰面朝天的样子？你想想
The manner lying on his back，think twice
那么大的个子？那么大的块头
So tall，so macho
一个浑身都散发着诗歌体味的汉子
A man sends forth the fragrance of poem out of every pore
闲来时躺在吱呀作响的藤椅上
Lying in the creaky cane chair in idle hours
一面看天？一面看你和我
Looking at the sky while looking at you and me
间或扭扭比青城山小不了多少的
Or to twist the big brain which is as big as Qing Chen Mountain life
大脑袋？和前来找他谈诗的他聊上两句
To chat with someone who has come to talk about poems
那份惬意？那份悠闲
This leisure，this comfort
那份自得其乐的情怀？能不让
And the enjoyment of feelings
另一些诗人肃然起敬或心生嫉妒
The other poets are respected or jealous
是啊？这样一想
Yes，to think about it this way
凹也就活了
Concave is alive
这时我们把凸和凹合起来
Now we combine the convex and concave
当然就是魏平了？是的
To be Wei Ping consequently，yes
今晚我就把自己想象成凸凹？
Tonight，I imagined myself to be convex-concave
我就有了美孕妇和男诗人的真感觉？
And I have the true feelings of a beautiful pregnant woman and a male poet
